Who we are

Cuddles-Cub is an independent children's picture book brand created by author Prachi Pokharkar. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.cuddles-cub.com, why we collect it, and what your rights are. You can reach us any time at pokharkar.prachi@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe, we store your email address, the optional name you give us, which page you signed up from, and basic technical details (browser user agent and referring page) to help us prevent spam sign-ups.
• Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
• Basic usage data. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs (such as IP address and page requested) to keep the site secure and available.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our books are for children, but this website is intended to be used by parents, guardians, teachers and other adults.

How we use it

We use your information only to send you occasional news about new books and free downloads, to reply to your messages, and to keep the website working and secure. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Legal basis (EU/UK visitors)

We rely on your consent for newsletter emails (you can withdraw it at any time) and on our legitimate interest in running a safe, functioning website for security logs and replying to your enquiries.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the site — our website host and our database/email infrastructure providers — and only so they can provide those services to us. They may process data outside your country; where that happens we rely on the providers' standard contractual safeguards.

Our book pages link out to Amazon. When you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there — we never receive your payment details.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to stop sending you emails, or to restrict or object to how we use it. Just email pokharkar.prachi@gmail.com and we'll respond as quickly as we can. If you're in the EU/UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
